This was our first and probably last experience with Long Horn Steak House.
Perhaps next time she will think twice before she steals the food off someone's table before they are finished with it. I kept her tip to pay for the stolen appetizers and the missing loaf of bread. Our check totaled $80 for the two of us and the 15% tip alone amounted to 12 bucks. She had left the check for us already and dollar amounts were spelled out for a 20%, 18%, or 15% recommended tip. She brought us boxes and while we were trying to open them she took our appetizers and iced tea. Upon finishing our meal we asked for go boxes to take the rest home. We ordered two appetizers and while they were very good, the portions were very small. Every other table in this restaurant was served a beautiful loaf of bread to eat with their meal. I finally flagged down one of her male cohorts who gave us straws. She started out well, but didn't offer us straws for our ice tea and when I tried to ask for them, she walked away not paying a bit of attention to me. My daughter ordered Mac and Cheese and corn nuggets and both came out cold. Our celery and carrots came tossed with the wing sauce on it. I get the same sauce at sonic on their boneless wings. I ordered the boneless and it tasted like microwaved chicken. My husband said his wings were tough as well. Then our wings came and they were so small! I’ve never had a waitress that didn’t put the appetizer in first. We asked for her to go ahead and put the app in because we were still looking the menu over. No atmosphere what so ever! It was only 8 pm on a Saturday night and the bar area was lively.but the dining room not so much. It was so empty and it really had a lonely feel to it.
